This 30 minute Trial Drum Lesson with Dave is for young kids (6-9yo) who are new to the school and would like to try a lesson before committing to regular or package lessons. You will learn on your own, full drum kit (your teacher will use a separate kit to demonstrate).

This class, more than any other, epitomises what Aspire Music is about - bringing musicians of all kinds together. It feels great to play in a band, putting in the time to get the song sounding great before finally performing LIVE! Each Workshop is 6 weeks long (one class per week) and the goal is to perform a song or 2 at one of our regular Student Shows. This class is for students with at least one year experience on their instrument and open to all Instruments and Ages!

The Drum Club is a small group drum class where kids can build a solid foundation in playing the drum kit. Maximum 3 students per class and each student uses their own Drum Kit throughout. We cover all the basics including good hand/foot technique, basic coordination, simple grooves and fills, an introduction to rhythm reading and understanding drum kit notation. Students play along to music almost from the 1st class! Aimed at beginners but students with some experience can join too.

Spacious room equipped with a beautiful Sonor AQ2 drum kit and Zildjian Cymbals as well as a PA equipped with QSC K12 speakers and a Yamaha desk. We also have drum sticks and headphones that you can use, as well as some inspirational drum books if you're looking for something new to work on.

Playing drums in a group is a powerful and exciting experience, similar in some ways to singing in a choir or playing in an orchestra but with a little more of the camaraderie you might get in a sports team. Each student will be able to try out different instruments so they build an appreciation of each section of the group and the role each instrument plays within it. We'll try different styles of group drumming so you'll enjoy a cultural experience as well as a drumming one! Suitable for all levels - max 6 students.

Taking place in our smaller practice room which is appropriate for general instrument practice, e.g. saxophone, trumpet, vocals, guitar, etc. The room has a small JBL PA system, a Yamaha Digital Piano and a Shure SM58 mic. Guitars (acoustic, electric and bass) and amps can all be hired at a small extra cost.

In our spacious practice room we have a fantastic, well-maintained Kawai upright piano. The piano is serviced and tuned every 6 months so you can be confident in the instrument you're playing. We also have a PA system including a Yamaha mixing desk and 2 x QSC K12 powered speakers which you can use for music playback if needed. Ideal for Exam Recording!

Celebrate your preschooler’s growing independence and love of the outdoors with activities involving the four seasons. Developed to build attention and self-expression, activities include singing, focused listening, musical games, exploring musical instruments, creative movement, and storytelling. The music classes nurture your growing child’s ability to use language and participate in dramatic play within a musical context. Min 2 and Max 4 Students.

Kids aged 3 must be accompanied however 4 and 5 year olds can attend unaccompanied.

This is a one-hour Vocal Lesson for 2 people with Sara. A great idea if you are a little nervous about having a lesson alone - bring a friend! Or if you're a couple preparing a special Wedding or Anniversary song performance.

This is a one-hour Drum Lesson for 2 people with Teacher Dave. Each student will have their own Drum Kit to use throughout the lesson. Teacher Dave will demonstrate techniques, exercises, etc on a 3rd drum kit.

STUDENTS TAKING PART IN THIS CLASS MUST BE OF A SIMILAR PLAYING LEVEL.

This is a class for adult singers focusing on honing their vocal technique and understanding their voice better. Each in-depth class will help you identify your good and bad habits, give you tools to correct and develop your voice and, most importantly, demonstrate how to apply good technique to the songs you love. You’ll also learn how to apply style in both solo and harmony singing. 

This class is open to ALL levels and maximum capacity is 4 students.

This Singing Fundamentals course, for 11-13 year olds, focuses on building your vocal technique and understanding your voice better. Each in-depth class will help identify your good and bad habits, you'll be given the tools to correct and develop the voice and, most importantly, you'll be shown how to apply good technique and learn how to style songs. There will also be performance opportunities throughout the term. This class is open to all levels. Minimum number of students is 2 and maximum is 4.

This Singing Fundamentals course, for teens aged 13 and over, focuses on building vocal technique and understanding your voice better. Each in-depth class will help identify good and bad habits, give the tools to correct and develop the voice and, most importantly, demonstrate how to apply good technique. You will also learn how to apply style and learn how to make the right vocal choices for different genres you might want to sing.

 This class is open to all levels. Minimum number of students is 2 and the maximum is 4.

This Singing Fundamentals course, for 8-10 year olds, focuses on building basic vocal technique and helping students understand their voice better. Each class will help identify good and bad habits, give the tools to correct and develop the voice and, most importantly, demonstrate how to apply good technique. You will also learn how to apply style and learn how to make the right vocal choices for different genres you might want to sing.

 This class is open to ALL levels. Minimum number of students is 2 and the maximum is 4.

This fun group class introduces young singers to the wonderful world of music through their voice. Aside from learning to sing Contemporary pop favourites as well as folk songs from around the world, the kids will have the chance to start reading basic rhythm and melody patterns, practice playing a rhythm instrument while singing at the same time and enjoy fun musical activities to build their focused listening and impulse control. 
The maximum capacity for this class is 4 students and the minimum is 2 students.

Taking place in our smaller practice room which is equipped with a small JBL PA system, a Yamaha Digital Piano, a Shure SM58 mic and a Fender Mustang II guitar amp. The room also has wifi or ethernet internet connection. Guitars or extra mics can be rented at a small extra cost.
